Brian and I shared a cabin on board the MV England out of Capetown heading to the Falkland Islands for the first time, we had been at sea for approximately 4 hours, when the first signs of sea sickness started to effect us both, we retreated back to our cabin, and both of us laid down on our beds, talking about the days events and the excitement of a new adventure that lay ahead, Brian was struggling to keep his stomach contents in his stomach, but strangely said "You know Fozzie, I think sea sickness is all in the mind" I said " What, really?" Seconds later, Brian was up and filled the sink with vomit, to which I replied "It's not in the mind Brian... it's in the sink " 15 mins after he reluctantly cleaned the sink, it was my turn. I can still smell it 🤣🤣
